Today, the Jr. Robot Rampagers worked hard on their poster board. The team drew pictures for the board to show the different animals in the dessert. They also stated that they focused on cold desserts and collected the information from the Great Basin Desert for their graphs.
Today the Jr. Robot Rampagers worked on naming their motorized machine. The team chose Water Driller Recycler. The name was a combination of two names, Water Driller and Water Recycler. They also wrote what their machine is for and how it would help people from both hot and cold deserts. The Water Driller Recycler also got a satellite on the top so it could know the weather.
The first meeting of the new year was one of colorful graphs and glue. The graphs containing the information of precipitation in the desert, temperature and snow fall were added to the poster board. They were glued to construction paper for a colorful border and then on the board. The group did word search puzzles that contained words related to the desert.
Their board is coming together well and has much helpful information!!
